first step is opening your photoshop( this was done with photoshop cs3)

then open both photos you will be using in my case i have took these

1

1. i crop one and selected the other then copy & paste to the first one i put same twice.

2

2. (optional) make it black & white. also i brightend it up and but very high contrast. i selected the lips so it would stay red.

3. ( for better result  brighten your eyes ) select the color and paint over the eyes then click on “color dodge” easy no, now you got a purple eye!

3

4. to make the outline around the photo. you double click beside the name of the layer and that box will come out. then you have the vertical menu, go all the way down and it will say “stroke” click on it and adjust as you will like it.  as you can tell i did it on both.

4

5. i wrote things that remind me of the 80’s but you can just write what you feel like saying… one thing you must make sure in this case. its the letters are under the photos so it won’t cover the picture.  ahh yes if you will like to download fonts i suggest dafont all my fonts are downloaded there.

** i accidently skipped the  ”1980″ but you can just add.

5

6. (this can only be done with a cs3 or newest cs4) first you click on the brush. then go on the panel and click on brushes there, select the brush you will like and play with the spacing.you might want to also play with “shape dynamics” and “scattering”.

your result should be…

simple, no?
