1. open photoshop , the photo you want and the texture.

2. then copy/ paste the texture onto the photo

3.then move it to “multiply”

it should look like this:
0022

but of course we do not want to be cover they’re faces with that so then comes the next step

3. put a mask to the the texture’s layer.
0032

4.select the brush and make sure its color black!
0042
then you will just sorta “erase” but not really!! it just looks like it …
0051

5. (optional) for it not to look wierd let do gaussian blur :)
open filter > blur > gaussian blur.
0061
then just put all the way at 250.0 or as you would like it!!
0071

and then you are done.

{ i didn’t use the right photo for this but it works anyways }

1. open photoshop & the image you would like to edit.

2. select the elliptical marque tool
001
it should look like this :)
002

3. right click on the oval & select inverse
003

4. then select curves
004
and make it darker, it will look very awkward but the next step is the magic…like that..
005

5. then go to filter >blur> gaussian blur!
006
when you select it, make sure it goes all the way to 250.0 cause then it looks wayy better!!!
{my comp went retarded so thats why it has a black patch.. but the picture should come out }
007

done.

first step is opening your photoshop( this was done with photoshop cs3)

then open both photos you will be using in my case i have took these

1

1. i crop one and selected the other then copy & paste to the first one i put same twice.

2

2. (optional) make it black & white. also i brightend it up and but very high contrast. i selected the lips so it would stay red.

25

3. ( for better result  brighten your eyes ) select the color and paint over the eyes then click on “color dodge” easy no, now you got a purple eye!

3

4. to make the outline around the photo. you double click beside the name of the layer and that box will come out. then you have the vertical menu, go all the way down and it will say “stroke” click on it and adjust as you will like it.  as you can tell i did it on both.

4

5. i wrote things that remind me of the 80’s but you can just write what you feel like saying… one thing you must make sure in this case. its the letters are under the photos so it won’t cover the picture.  ahh yes if you will like to download fonts i suggest dafont all my fonts are downloaded there.

** i accidently skipped the  ”1980″ but you can just add.

5

6. (this can only be done with a cs3 or newest cs4) first you click on the brush. then go on the panel and click on brushes there, select the brush you will like and play with the spacing.you might want to also play with “shape dynamics” and “scattering”.

your result should be…

n502130762_2095006_9446

simple, no?
